Ellie began teaching primary aged children after completing her degree at Roehampton Institute, following a few years of ‘boring jobs’.

Originally from London, she taught successfully in London and in Oxfordshire before becoming headteacher at Burford Primary School. Ellie has been associated with Chapel Street since 2012, from the very early days of Tyndale School, when she was Head of the Junior School at Oxford High School, an independent girls school. Her passion is ensuring the best education, to fulfil potential and transform lives. Ellie has relocated to Cornwall, where she is a trustee of Bude Refugee Support Group, one of the first groups in the UK to resettle a refugee family through community sponsorship.
