After twelve years as a Headteacher, Max has worked as a consultant and advisor for a range of organisations including, The National College, The Innovation Unit, The Network of Black Professionals and The London Challenge. His international work has taken him to Serbia, the Netherlands, UAE, Ireland, and China. As an academic he has worked with the University of Bristol (Post graduate School of Education) and St Mary’s University College Twickenham and has been a visiting lecturer at Trinity College, Dublin. He is programme lead for the MA (Leadership) at the Institute of Education. He has written extensively on leadership and personalised education. Max maintains a formative role in Chapel Street Community Schools Trust’s education strategy.
