About Chapel St
Chapel St – the host of Rob Bell’s London appearance – is a change agency working for community transformation and regeneration.
We want to see the full potential of under-resourced communities released and are working to deliver key public services in the areas of education, employment, healthcare and housing in under-resourced areas.
We want to invite the church and other community agencies to partner with us.
So often at the heart of community life, churches and community agencies have expertise and resources that can complement and extend the reach of public services within a community. With ongoing movements in public service reform, there is increasing scope for churches, charities, businesses and community groups to work alongside the government in responding to community needs. We believe that communities thrive when they have proper access to education, employment, health and housing. Yet in under-resourced communities, access to and benefit from such services is often more limited.
Creative responses to community deprivation are needed more than ever.
We hope that Drops Like Stars might inspire your imagination for what might be possible in your community in 2010.
